Pastor Sasha, 

Thank you so much for opening the doors of your heart to let me be a part of your life! It is an amazing honor to get to be used by God to encourage you.

Last week, I let you know about a death our family experienced. Through it I have learned how God can use my broken heart to bring me close to God. In the past, that was just a verse. Today, I see the grief as a bridge to experience God in ways I have never known. The only way I can explain it is; the window between heaven and earth got bigger because a piece of my heart broke off and went to Heaven. I have more precision in ministry because of the closeness I have to the Lord. I'll be writing more about this in the future and about my really cool mathematically impossible experiences that God has comforted us with. They are amazing and well documented!

Speaking of mathematical impossibilities, I wanted to tell you about the Star of Bethlehem. There is incredible evidence that when God placed the stars in planets in the sky, he set them in motion for the a "Star" to appear over Bethlehem at the exact time we are told the wiseman came to visit Jesus. This is a one time alignment of planets and stars to make one bright beaming star. 

The Magi were experts in watching the stars. They knew specific stars and their meanings which makes the information so riveting. There are at least 10 astrological and historical alignments. The one main argument against this not being the likely "Star" pertains to the dating of Herod's death. However, there are many notable historians that do argue for a date that supports the "Star" theory. I would add, they are not incorporating their dating of Herod's death with any of the "Star" evidences. When you incorporate the other star evidences, it makes since to side with the less popular, but credible, view about Herod's death.

Lord as Pastor Sasha and I minister today, I pray the archeological, scientific, psychological and astrological data encourage us. I also pray Your supernatural power will guide us. I love how You give us such tangible evidence that gives us confidence to come to You. Help us to feel Your presence on us, even now, and carry it to the pulpit and throughout this special season. Thank You for this time of year and help us to not miss spending time individually with You.
